The Instituto Chileno Británico de Cultura (ICBC) and SEDUC sign an International Certification agreement
SEDUC, an educational partnership of Santiago Schools: Cordillera, Tabancura, Huelén, Los Alerces, Los Andes and Huinganal, signed an agreement with the ICBC to develop the international certification of English for their students through the Cambridge English Exams.
The agreement establishes benefits for the network of schools, such as workshops for the teachers who coach students to sit exams, free registration for certain students for the exams and certification for the Preparation Centre.

ICBC and Sylvie Simmons in Chile
On August 11th the ICBC collaborated with "El Mercurio" at an event held during the visit of journalist Sylvie Simmons, who is biographer to Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and Serge Gainsbourg. Sylvie has interviewed celebrities such as Lou Reed, The Clash, David Bowie as well as many others. On this occasion, Sylvie was interviewed by Alfredo Lewin, who walked her through her experiences in her professional life, revealing hitherto unknown stories. He later introduced some of the songs from her new album “Sylvie” accompanied by Chilean musician Matías Cena.
