Representatives of the Chilean-British University (UCBC) visit Prince Edward

As in previous years, a delegation representing the UCBC paid an official visit to Prince Edward, Royal Patron of the University, to present him with the annual report of the institution. The delegation was made up of Pedro Pfeffer (President of the Board of the UCBC) , Pablo Halpern (Vice President) , María Cristina Brieba (Dean) and Anthony Adams (Director of International Relations). They were able to share with the Prince national and international matters to do with the institution, as well as its plans for the future. “The Prince was delighted to hear of our new agreement with Bath University, as he is also their Royal Patron,” said María Cristina Brieba, Dean of UCBC.

The Chilean-British University signs important agreements with Oxford and Bath Universities.

During the visit of the UCBC delegation to the United Kingdom, two important agreements were signed with British universities. These will allow UCBC students to participate in an exchange program for a semester with these two prestigious British universities.

The Chilean British Cultural Institute (ICBC) were present as usual at ESU Chile's annual event “With Great Pleasure”

With Great Pleasure, the annual event organised by The English Speaking Union Chile (ESU) and sponsored by ICBC and UCBC, was held at The Grange School in La Reina with the presence of Alan Mackenzie (President of ESU) and Pedro Pfeffer (President of the Board of ICBC and UCBC)

It was an evening of fun and entertainment which included performances by students of ESU member schools, in particular the winners of the Poetry Recitation Competition .
