The British and Commonwealth Fire Company Foundation and 14th Fire Company

PRINCE EDWARD RECEIVES THE 14th FIRE COMPANY’S REPORT AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE

HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, received Brian Murtagh, Vice-Chairman of The British Fire Company Foundation (Fundacion 14) at Buckingham Palace on 28th January in order to present the 57th Annual Report of The British and Commonwealth Fire & Rescue Company J.A.S. Jackson and a briefing of the activities conducted by Fundacion 14, the fund-raising arm of The British Fire Company.

HRH is a Honorary Member of the 14th and an active supporter of the voluntary work performed by the 14th which responded to a total of 891 duty calls during the reported period with an average of 2.44 emergency and community service calls per day representing a 9.4% increase when compared to same period last year.
