APEM house in La Cisterna - Santa Elisa 659

We thank God for His faithfulness and provision, as we have received many donations of beautiful furniture and after lots of hard work to get everything moved in, the Center (see photo below) is looking like the perfect place to receive and support woman with an unplanned pregnancy.

We don't want to pass up the opportunity to thank several people for their important contributions over this past month.

First of all:

Jeff and Jan Miller showed incredible generosity to APEM through donating most of the furniture we now have at the house.

Thank you Jeff and Jan, may the Lord greatly bless you both in this new chapter of your lives in the US!

Secondly:

We also want to thank the following people for their help in moving the furniture:

Nate Pugh, Gonzalo Becerra, Pedro Alamos, Neil Walbaum, Felipe Roure, Cliff Case, y Christian Villavicencio.

We value the time and effort each one of you invested in APEM, we could not have done it without you!

Our First official volunteer, Maria Eugenia.

In addition, over the past month we have been busy contacting potential volunteers, and are so grateful to the Lord for the amazing woman of God, He is bringing to serve in APEM.

We currently have six (6) official volunteers!

Should you be interested in working with us as a Volunteer, please contact our Director, Leah Nichilo at: leah.nichilo@apoyoparaelembarazo.cl.

Finally, this past Saturday we had a wonderful time of prayer for the Center in the APEM house in La Cisterna.

Approximately 15 friends and volunteers of the Center came out to join us in praising God for what He has done and also praying for areas of need. Thank you to all who participated, please continue to keep us in your prayers.

We finally have our own Bank account! All contributions can be sent to:

  • Banco Estado

  • Checking account (Cuenta corriente): 000-0-645838-6

  • Fundación Apoyo Para El Embarazo

  • RUT: 65.157.694-6

  • Email: katherine.anderson@apoyoparaelembarazo.cl

We covet your prayers for the following areas:

  • Guidance as we put together our team of Volunteers

  • For the preparation of the Volunteer Training

  • Provision for the funds to purchase an ultrasound machine

  • Marketing strategy to make ourselves known in the community of La Cisterna

Fundación Apoyo para El Embarazo (APEM)

This foundation was started in 2017 to help girls with unplanned pregnancies. Fundación Apoyo Para El Embarazo will offer free pregnancy tests, followed by an ultrasound to show the size and age of the baby. We will discuss pregnancy options with the girl. She, as well as the baby’s father, may attend individualized classes on pregnancy and learn how to take care of a newborn baby. After each class, she may select donated baby clothes and maternity items from our boutique.

Our History

We are a non-profit organisation recently established in 2017 thanks to the initiative of 2 ladies, Katherine Anderson and Dana Fought, who have dedicated part of their lives working for similar organizations in the United States.
